Professional Student

Well, I registered for classes at Chattanooga State today, in their pre-engineering program. I don't know if anything will ever come of it, but there's a certain comfort in getting back into school. At least it's a familiar environment.

The two classes are Vector Statics (on Mondays) and Calculus I (online). Should be interesting.

Thirty-three

Yeah, it's that day. In this case, the age in question is not a prime number (though at first glance it might appear so), but is the product of two prime numbers (three if you're picky).

Sarah gave me a rather insightful gift: the first season of Animaniacs on DVD. I'd forgotten how funny that show was. Case in point, the episode where Yakko is king of Anvilania:

King Yakko and Prime Minister Nurse proceed down the hall.

Prime Minister Nurse: Sire?
King Yakko: Maybe later when we're alone.

If I'd been taking a drink, I'd have done a spit-take. As Slappy Squirrel would say, "Now that's comedy."

So, on this birthday, I give a shout out to all my homies. I am immensely grateful for my friends and family (And who else would be reading this?), and my love* and respect go out to you all.

I've been tired all day, and that makes me depressive, and this post was going to be all maudlin and shit. But I'm past it. Happy Birthday to me, Goddammit.

(*Unless you're male, in which case it's all manly-like, with hugs that involve only one arm and punching each other in the back.)
